Out for another day of capping and caching with OBA, this time in Red Deer!! Took a little bit to wiggle around and find the right parking that would get is close to the cap, but not be where we shouldn't. The construction is blocking some of the area to get in but not all of it, so it looks a little deceptive at first. A quick little walk, which the geopup was disappointed at its length, and we found the cap in no time! TFTCap!!

I wasn't really sure I was going to go to Red Deer this morning until I got up, checked the weather and the brass cap page. Even though the forecast was for some rain, the temperatures were supposed to hit the double digits so I decided to go. For the first few brass caps, I parked and walked around to each of them as they were in fairly close proximity from each other. Besides I needed to get out and stretch my legs. Most were quick finds, although the surface of some of the caps was unreadable. Pictures have been sent to OFTH.

#4 of 46 caps found on the day. I spent the early morning finding caps at all points from Calgary to Red Deer. I returned to Calgary in the afternoon to clear out much of north Calgary including a good hike across nose hill. TFTC
