The cover for this cap was quickly spotted once we had taken a quick glance around this pretty park. The manhole cover remover that Mr Shark fashioned worked very well to reveal what lay beneath. The pin didn't feel like there were numbers stamped in its sides but it was a bit wobbly! Mr Shark avoided pulling on it--just in case! While the cover was being removed a fellow with a Boston Terrier came down the nearby path and turned to take the path away from us. However, the little dog stopped...and stared...and panted...and wagged his tail...and resisted gentle attempts to be led away. He might be a geodog who doesn't know it. Finally the owner, with a grin at us, walked backwards in a comical manner to get the dog's attention and get him moving again! After digging out a quick portable lunch we resumed our trip to Cold Lake. Thanks for the picturesque cap, ofth!

Easy to find and not so easy to remove the lid. I was lucky I had the right tool with me to expose the cap. TFTBC

After a brief meeting in Wainwright, I headed to the cap before going back to Lloyd to fly to Kindersley. I could not get the manhole cover open with my limited items available to me. Hope this is OK TFTH
