Well, I'm sure I had read the previous logs for this one but the content completely slipped my mind. When I got here the cap hole was still full of water, I was still not able to clear the water. I did try....used a few interesting tools from my car and got my hands dirty in the process. :) But after all that it seems the numbers are unreadable as well.

Thanks to the CO for accepting my context picture and my assurance that I at least felt the cap under that puddle. :) This was my only find today so I am grateful to log the smiley. It was a beautiful afternoon to boot. Got a great, somewhat context picture across the street. :) TFTBC!

In North Edmonton grabbing some BCPs before the end of the month. Easily found this one because previous finders had exposed it. However we couldn't read the number on the cap because the hole kept filling with water when we tried scooping and drying it out. Think it was from the nearby sump pump outlet.
Thanks outforthehunt for another BCP.

GeoGuider and I were out and about today looking for some brass caps before it’s too late. We managed to find three today before it was time to head home. This one was found beside a nice little walkway. Took a bit of digging, but we found it. The numbers on the cap are completely unreadable. Thanks for the cap outforthehunt.

j0ckser and I were out and about today looking for some brass caps before it’s too late. We managed to find three today before it was time to head home. This one was found beside a nice little walkway, though we had to use the trowel to dig down a little to get there as it had filled in with dirt and leaves in the last year. There wasn’t a lot of traffic on the road nearby so we didn’t attract a lot of attention doing the brass cap thing today.
