A second 3D positioning basenet cap in a row! Again quite a surprise as we had not done any research before this hastily set up trip with ManjaLou. As at the previous marker, we scanned the area for a marker post as we drove up, saw the super collossal cap and decided to leave all our tools in the vehicle--no need to dig this out or brush it off!

It was great to get out into the country. We noticed a lot of pussywillows and catkins on the trees and geese and ducks in the sloughs. A horse and two gophers watched the proceedings as we dashed across the ditch to have a look at this marker and take photos. It likely looked pretty odd to any human onlookers, too, but hey, who cares. We're harmless! Thanks, outforthehunt, for showing us this special survey marker and for all the work you continue to put into this special cache!
