Out for another day of capping and caching with OBA, this time in Red Deer!! There is quite the construction going on in the area, but we managed to find a place to park and walked up to the cap where the geodog made the find! Well, mostly... she started eating grass near it when we noticed flagging on the fence. The cap is in great shape! Only a slight scuff that doesn't affect any numbers. TFTCap!!

I wasn't really sure I was going to go to Red Deer this morning until I got up, checked the weather and the brass cap page. Even though the forecast was for some rain, the temperatures were supposed to hit the double digits so I decided to go. Since I was not familiar with navigating around Red Deer, I had some back and forth but all in all it wasn’t too bad. Most were quick finds, although the surface of some of the caps was unreadable. Pictures have been sent to OFTH.

A nice short walk along the river led me to this shiny cap.
Brass capping is sure a lot easier when they have all been found recently.

Thanks.
