Yes! My first cap with a real walk today. I loved the hike to get here! The added bonus was that I stopped and got a puzzle find on the way to this one. Actually signing a logbook for the first time this week. :) The find there was quick but I had taken the north path along the way. When I headed to the cap I knew I had to somehow get to the south path to find it. I managed to find a slightly clear only minimal bushwhacking route to the south path and headed to GZ.

This was another one that took me some time. I was distracted by various markers and fallen ribbons and couldn't make heads or tails of things. I bushwhacked in a few times, getting close but not close enough. And then stepping back on the path to study the context pics. I think gumby's pic was the one that finally clicked and I figured out where WZ had to be standing :) and spotted the indent! Yes!

I enjoyed the walk back and then the walk on to the park sign for the next one. Got my exercise here today and managed to get it at the perfect time. A Walk was happening and the parking lot filled up fast after I got here. TFTBC and for bringing me here!

Went out after supper to grab a few more BCPs. There was no one along the trail on our way to the cap which I was glad of once we were there. Note - access is easier from the south trail - guess who took the north trail! Even coming from the south I was glad no one came by to ask why I was contorting myself in the bush. Eventually got there and made the easy find. The Princess had much easier time getting there. On the way back at least half a dozen cyclists passed us.
Thanks outforthehunt for the mini adventure on this one.

My last cap of the day, same crew as the last one, Geoguider/J0ckser/Gumbyphv this one really turned out to be in a strange place, middle of nowhere between 2 paths really, and it's incased in concrete too heh. Good thing gumbyphv had his shovel with him, we needed to do some digging to clear the spot, but it was fairly obvious where we had to dig at least, about 5' away from the nice metal post :)
