A great place for a Cap. Unfortunately there is now a barbed wire fence between the MP and the cap. I was able to take a photo from the MP that showed the markings when the photo was enlarged. Thanks OFTH for another cool Cap. I think this is the first Alberta Environment Survey cap that I have logged.

Takin it Easy already had this one but he kindly drove me to the cap in order that I also could log a find. The fence has been restrung with new barbed wire resulting in a more difficult crossing than before as it was very taut and did not deflect down much. I managed to get over it and get the required info but added another barded wire tear to my pants on the return crossing. I think every pair of pants I own has a least one such rip in them. Gorilla tape works well as a repair method .

Thanks for posting this cap ofth. This Alberta Environment cap may be related to the nearby Sherburne Lake dam.

I didn't realize there was a brass cap near one of my caches. Now it is mentioned in "Sheburne Lake" cache...thanks!

A little side trip on the way back to Lethbridge from a caching trip in Medicine Hat. A relatively easy drive up with the barb wire being the only challenge. Neat to find a different style brass (aluminum?) cap. TFTCap
