Out for another day of capping and caching with OBA, this time we went east!! Easy to spot, and easy enough to get the lid off! It might be getting dark outside, but we had to use the flash on our cameras to see the cap way down at the bottom anyways! TFTCap!!

My second stop of the day. Easy to spot the cap location. I needed a screwdriver to pry up the lid and a flashlight to read the numbers. TFTC.

Takin it Easy contacted me last week to see if I was interested in accompanying him on a Calgary to Medicine Hat to Lethbridge to Calgary capping expedition. That took me about 2 seconds to decide I would very much like to participate in the venture. I had 11 caps to locate on this route while he had 8 to claim. Anyway, today was the chosen day and we set off early from his house and using his vehicle. Our first stop was Bassano where I had one cap to find. It was a very quick find being that was enclosed in a bright blue pipe enclosure. I went and popped off the manhole cover, acquired the photos, returned to the car and we were off to Brooks. This cap was in a mighty deep pipe protected hole, deepest I have seen I think.

Thanks for the posting this cap ofth, I believe this was the first time I have actually driven through Bassano.
