What a great old school with "Girls" and "Boys" carved into the stone over widely separated doors. This was one of our longer searches not helped by realizing that the details noted from a context picture were not complete enough. However, before we resorted to referring to pictures, Mrs Shark found the colourful cap. We think we could pick out the center dimple in the cap, but it might have been one of the many gouges--this one has taken a thorough beating. This is a great historical and interesting location! It had started to sprinkle at the previous cap, but was dry here. It got very, very wet and windy on the drive home but we've driven through much worse.

Thanks for a great day of caps, outforthehunt! We've always found a cap or two in a day or mixed a few in with our traditional cache finds whenever they were in the area, but today was dedicated to brass caps and we earned 25 smilies and never a logbook signed! It's sad to realize this will be our last cap to earn a smilie but we are very grateful for all the memories, adventures and discoveries this unique geocache has provided since we found our first cap in May, 2014. I don't know how many Favourite Points we might have given it if that were possible, but lots! Thanks so much, outforthehunt, for setting this cache up and all your efforts put into it over the past 15 years. Congratulations on a job very well done! If the cache lives on we look forward to continuing to find caps wherever we may wander in the province; they are an excellent tour guide!

I met j0ckser as he was getting off from work and we travelled in tandem here. What an interesting story about the teacher who taught here. I can’t imagine teaching for 65 of her 81 years. I can’t imagine starting teaching when I was 16 either, much less teaching till I die. (Mind you there ARE days, but nothing that a nice glass of wine or Crown and coke won’t cure! LOL) This was a much easier find than the ones we were looking for yesterday. The cap itself has been painted… twice. Thanks for the cap OTFH.

Grabbed a couple more BCPs today on the way to home. Quick find but the cap was unreadable. I remember come down here as a kid with my grandparents to go the the greenhouse. Then it felt like going back in time. The neighbourhood has certainly turned out nice.
Thanks outforthehunt for another BCP.

Found the cap, but it's been beaten up pretty bad and is no longer legible. Even the words around the edge are impossible to decipher. Sent the CO a photo and received permission to log. Thanks!
