Stopped to get this cap after spending a few hours canoeing the nearby lakes. Good to get a chance to stretch the legs. TFTCap.

We were up this way to do some canoeing on Jarvis Lake, Blue Lake and of course, we just had to paddle on Cache Lake as well. The water was low in the creek which made it challenging to get to the smaller lakes but a good day all round with several kilometers of paddling and some brass caps as a bonus. There was minimal traffic on the road today so we parked on the edge and walked up the hill to the prominent cap. TFTCap

Found this one about 2 feet in front of a metal/wood post combination (away from the spruce tree). The cap was clean and was about 3 inches above ground level. Thanks for this cap.

Fortunately we didn't make any wrong turns on the way to this cap and simply had a couple of days to hunt down a couple of the lesser found caps in the area. We parked just off Hwy. 40 and enjoyed a short walk to the cap site just inside the tree line. It was a quick and easy find with the flagging blowing in the morning breeze - TFTH and the picture is on the way!
