Nose Hill Park sure fits the bill today. Thanks, van de Decken, for placing this virtual hide, and for the remembrance of things past. I know son TTOS spent quite some time finding these locations... The wind was so severe today that I had to be careful things didn't blow away, but I think the photo ended up OK.

Ah, brass caps... narloth and I didn't do a whole lot of them in the day, but we sure enjoyed doing the ones that we did find. It was a real pity when the fun ended. Booo on HQ.

Please refer to narloth's log for the picture of the brass cap with our GPS.

          <groundspeak:text encoded="True">
Losmir and I have many fond memories of hunting brass caps back in the day. They were one of our favourite things to go look for. Our adventures took us to many towns or places we had never been to, nor probably would have gone to if it hadn’t been for a brass caps being there. I remember digging through mud in the badlands in order to find some and having to look a metre below ground level in huge holes to locate others. We met many geocachers for the first time as well while on our travels. It was a sad day when they were no longer allowed to be a cache. This was a great tribute to outforthehunt and all his hard work. Thanks for the virtual.
