I was eager to get a few more brass cap finds to count towards a challenge so I took advantage of the nice afternoon to get outside and enjoy an urban geowalk connecting some fine caches and caps. Message sent with numbers and photo. TFTC

I wanted to check off some more Brass Caps from my list so I headed out early before needing to be back home. This was my third stop and initially I wasn't sure how to access the cap and google satellite wasn't much help. I parked on a residential street just off Mission Road which proved to be a good choice and made my way to GZ. I gathered the required information and forged on.

Thanks so much, OFTH, for another great Brass Cap!!

If I was smarter, I would have checked and realized this cap was here when I was here less than a week ago looking for a different cache. At least I knew the best place to park this time. I focused my search at GZ on one particular area that stood out from the rest without any success. Once I opened up my search area to other possibilities, I finally noticed the cap secretly tucked away "in the weeds". TFTBC.

First of 12 today, #858. We parked at the bottom and found the (wrong) trail up the hill. I got a running start because it was so steep. After waiting for muggles to pass, I made the find in a couple minutes. This one blended in pretty well with the surroundings. Of course I found the real trail on the way back. Thanks for the cap!
