The hole was obvious, and the cap was 2 inches below ground level. Had to dig away some dirt. Watch out for ants. Fortunately there turned out to be 2 caps and a cache for me to find so I got a few bonus smileys. It was a quick find in the rain and I managed to snap the pictures quickly and with minimal water damage to my phone. It's always a treat to get these old caps with the low numbers. It was too busy there to attempt a find, but when I got close to this gz, well, it was completely quiet, now I'd found where everyone [b]wasn't[/b]! I was able to find the cap quickly and took some pics after cleaning off ever so little covering leaf litter.
