After the Confederation parks caps we headed west and down Sarcee for three more which the geokids insisted we walked them all from the same parking spot... it was a nice morning so I was not going to say no. We came at this one from below and along an interesting ridge. This one was soon found and in great shape a little above ground level likely due to wind erosion. My plan was pretty simple, leave after work Friday and find a hotel in Salmon Arm, get up Saturday morning, drive to Seattle to watch the Mariners game and then come back to Abbotsford after the game. Sunday was the day to head into Vancouver and move her stuff in and go through the place and then head home on Monday. Thankfully I had no complaints from them, they know me well enough to know that if I'm going go all the way to Vancouver we might as well sneak down to Seattle for a ballgame. Seemed like a nice road trip to me. Today we left Red Deer at around 6:00 this evening and I had two stops I really wanted to make on the way to Salmon Arm. Stopping at this cap was the first place I wanted to stop so I pulled off the highway and made the short walk through the rain to the cap. Found the cap quickly, snapped a few pics and we were on our way. Thanks for amother cool in a very interesting location.
