I had to spend a couple of hours in the Signal Hill area on an unpaid work break, so that was a good chance to check out this one. No problem to see where it is, but after a few years the cover was nice and stuck. A couple of taps with the mallet alleviated that, and then it lifted easily. TFTCap.

The weather gods have been kind this week and I was able to plan and then carry out a package of 8 searches for brass caps within the city of Calgary. Thanks ofth & vdD for this enjoyable beginning to the day. Photos will be added soon. This was "find" #8.

Made a detour after a soccer game (we won 4-1) at the soccer centre to find this cap. A fine view point. Had the compass out in the long grass looking for this one but then looked over my shoulder.....

Heading out for my second cap run of the day, I was able to add 8 more to my found list. I started on the west side of town along the Bow, moved into Edworthy and the Bowness area then headed south to Signal Hill. I found every one I sought. Thanks for the caps.
