Another one off the list…the last time I was in this park I wasn’t really looking for caps yet. I think one of the things I enjoy about them is there’s never any real stealth required. Imaginary conversation that hasn’t happened to me (yet):

“What are you doing?”

“There’s a land survey monument somewhere around here and I like to look for them.”

“Oh.”

Anyway, found this one in the first divot-like spot I checked. Thanks.

The weather gods have been kind this week and I was able to plan and then carry out a package of 8 searches for brass caps within the city of Calgary. Thanks ofth & vdD for this enjoyable beginning to the day. Photos will be added soon. This was "find" #6.

Given the great weather on a Friday afternoon, I had to escape outside for a geowalk to grab a few caches and a couple of caps. The cap was in the dirt under a tree and I soon had the numbers recorded and the photo taken. TFTC.

For some reason, I seem to think we were in this area for a CCARx cache a few years ago when our friends pointed out this cap to me. I wasn't interested in caps at the time and yet here I am back tonight looking for it again. Fortunately someone marked out GZ so there was no real searching required. You gotta like that. :-) TFTBC.
