Reading previous logs this cap was down a ways but due to recent rains the hole had sloughed in and would have required a mini excavator to expose the numbers. Therefore will have to leave this one for another time. This one was easy (in the bottom of a deep hole). After clearing the layer of dirt off, I was able to get the photo. I made my way back to the hiway over some gravel roads, and saw a pronghorn antelope about 20m off the road. I wasn't expecting the condition of the road though. During the snowstorm this road turned into a mud trail that I felt pretty lucky to even make it through.
