My Elevation: 726 m

I'd been here before and struck out, so this time I came with more tools, including a metal detector. With a previous context photo in mind, I made a quick recon of where I thought it might be and came up with nothing: the grass here is very lush and thick. So, I decided I'd bring out the “big guns” and find this guy. After two steps on the way back to the car, my foot hit something. What's this? The cap!

Now I have yet another tool in my cap hunting arsenal: just walk around and trip over things. I'll be sure to use it often, but only for the forces of good.

Thanks for the cap!
