Again this was a cap that Takin it Easy had already found so he drove me to the spot and waited while I went looking for brass. I soon spotted a likely hole at GZ which a compass sweep confirmed as the place. However, a gopher had used the cap hole as an entrance to his burrow and had buried the cap into a sidewall which required a bit of shovel (by TiE) work to expose. That was quickly done and I took my photos before we headed over to the newer Bow Island cap that we both needed to locate.

Thanks for the Bow Island cap ofth.

On the road today on the way to Medicine Hat, and once I got past Lethbridge I was on a new road to me. Lots of time on this gorgeous day to hop between little towns catching communities and seeing a few sights. This second cap was so close to the first I stopped for, I had to try. A little bit of wandering and I found the hole. Cleaned away the dirt, but the numbers on the cap were not to be found. Nevermind seeing them, I couldn't even feel that they had been there.
