With a few days booked off we headed out on a caching and capping trip with a few objectives. Those objectives included having some fun and grabbing a few caches for various goals and challenges we have set for ourselves.

Wow it's been a long while since we found this cap. Just trying to get caught up again. It's always a pleasure to roam Alberta in search of the Brass.

TFT Cap, outforthehunt!

We had to use the lower road to access the cap as the upper road was being re-constructed. That was just fine as the lower (shore) road was much more scenic. Surveyors had set up over the cap and didn’t want me touching anything but gave me permission to take some photos for proof of visit. Nice to see the caps fulfilling their purpose, rather then just being used to keep a few cachers entertained

Canyon Creek is a beautiful area with wonderful views of Lesser Slave Lake. We spent a little while enjoying the public beach near the old Inn.

Thanks for showing us this place ofth, much appreciated.

This one was a quick drive-up cap found well marked in a deep hole. As per the usual with most caps in a deep hole, this one was badly dinged. There was not much to be made out as far as digits go. We grabbed our photos and continued on down the road.
