The Geo-Mom and I are in town for SAW XII (and general geocaching) and this time I came organized with a list of Brass Caps in the area ! Following the S7: Welcome to Medicine Hat Event, I stopped for a few caps in the general area. Wasn't too difficult to locate and details have been sent to the C.O.

Thanks for another great Brass Cap, OFTH!

This one is located about 7 feet from the tree, 15 feet from the road, and 12 feet from the asphalt pathway. The manhole cover has two shallow holes, and I was fortunate that my hiking pole had just enough leverage to remove it. Then I discovered how really lucky I was. The cover has two tabs that fit into the manhole base, so it has to be turned to the correct position for it to come off (sort of like a childproof pill bottle lid). The cover was in the right position when I arrived and left. Thanks for the brass cap.
