Out grabbing a few more BCPs on the last day for logging them. Since we parked across the fairly busy road we took all out cap finding tools. This of course meant they weren't needed. Another easy find. There were an over abundance of crows roaming the field for some reason. Briefly had visions of Hitchcock's The Birds and quickly made it back to the car.

Thanks outforthehunt for all the BCPs and the fun I've had over the last couple weeks getting most of the ones in the Edmonton area.

We had a bit of a "train delay" on the way here from Stony Plain but finally we arrived and found a spot to park across the street from the cap. Again this was a quick find as the hole was open and "ASCM" was spray painted on the sidewalk beside the cap . gotta love that! While I was cleaning the cap a young woman walking her dog stopped and asked if I was a geocacher looking for a brass cap. It turns out she was also a cacher who only recently started looking for caps. Nice to meet a budding fellow capper.

Thanks for the cap ofth.

After an absolutely great family weekend in Canmore, Mrs. Gumby and I had to come up by Calahoo to get Rambo today after his weekend stay. I was hoping to spend the day caching but Mrs. Gumby had agreed to go into work at 3pm for the evening shift tonight. What that meant to me was a quick trip up and back with pretty much no caching involved. I was able to convince her that we would have time to drive through Spruce Grove just so I could stop and grab this cap. She was okay with me making this stop so I made the detour. I parked across the street and came over and made the find. I wonder what the town worker mowing the lawn thought as he drove by and I had my flip flops off and was taking pictures. Thanks for another great cap in a nice spot and for giving me a quick smiley on my trip north today. TFTBC
