Luckily I had read previous logs so I knew to follow the arrow and not get distracted by the marker post a little further north from the target. No problem locating the pin. Grabbed my photos and it was time to carry on to Canmore. 2017-05-02T20:00:00 Found it Strider's Ride BCP737 High Rockies Trail My third cap find of the day involved traveling along the Smith Dorien/Spray Lakes trail and this was the first time that I've ever gone the full length of it. What an excellent day for the trip as there was plenty of sunshine and blues skies with lots of terrific scenery. Quite a number of people were also out enjoying the area including a tour bus heading in the opposite direction. The cap, or pin in this case. involved climbing a short but steep hill, then traversing a section of deep snow before arriving at the MP. I then had to dig the pin out before taking the obligatory pics. This is another terrific location - I'll definitely miss finding caps in places like this. TFTCap ofth! 2016-11-04T20:00:00 Found it Takin it Easy BCP737 High Rockies Trail Posted: N50° 53.342 W115° 20.803 GPSr: N50° 53.344 W115° 20.802 BVPete and I were out caching in the Canmore area and this cap was too close to not take a scenic loop back home down the Spray Lakes Road to Kananaskis Lakes and back up Hwy 40. We parked on the side of the road and I took the quick jaunt up the hillside to the trail edge and the post. What great views from GZ! Another fine cap location in the mountains.
