(FOUND)

Thanks to the excavation work by one Mr. dronnord, this cap was an easy park and pic on a quick visit to Barrhead today.

My context photo isn't worth much, so I'll just post the GPSr near the cap pic. The cap itself is out of focus down in its little hole, but the GPSr coords are clear.

Thanks for the cap!

It was a much more pleasant drive up the #33/43 today as compared with the spring snowstorm we encountered along here two weeks ago.

This was a quick find as Sleepy_hollow was already standing at the cap by the time I arrived on site.

The drive over to Barrhead required passing through a short storm front of sideways sleet. I was worried the roads would ice up, but it passed quickly and things were quite pleasant as I approached town. I got to GZ and spotted a thick blanket of snow from the road to the fence. I looked again and there was a black circle about where I expected to find the cap. Bingo, a hole filled with water that I expected the cap to be inside. I bailed it out and again used my trusty towel to clean off the cap in a hole. I was glad for a quick one and still had 5 minutes to spare. One more cap in Onoway before I had to head back to Red Deer. Thanks for the cap OFTH!

The drive over to Barrhead from Clyde was pretty slow with an oversized vehicle holding things up. Near the cap site I was able to pull over and find the BGL cap - great little spot on a sunny day - thanks OFTH for setting it up!
